Singing classes  

During your singing  lesson you will gain the confidence in your own vocal skills and be able to sing as a part of an ensemble and solo if you wish! Vocal training is a combination of voice and breathing exercises aimed to improve your musicality, range and vocal control. We will be working on a variety of genres of including chart music, jazz, and Musical Theatre. For the older students, there will be a songwriting element to their curriculum

Katie Ryan

Singing teacher, Wednesdays and Saturdays  

Katie is a session singer, vocal coach, musical theatre teacher and songwriter from Dublin.
Katie has a BA Honors Degree in Modern Music with a Diploma in Professional Musicianship from the British and Irish Institute of Modern Music (BIMM) DIT, where she majored in Vocal Performance. 
Since leaving BIMM she regularly performs gigs of various styles and genres around the country with some of Irelands top musicians while also working as a session/backing vocalist for up and coming artists in live performance, studio recording and radio environments.
As a session musician she has performed in Dublin’s best music venues (Vicar Street, The Sugar Club, Button Factory, Whelans etc.) as well as festivals all over the country (Electric Picnic, Other Voices, Vantastival, Knockanstockan etc.), has jammed with Beyoncé’s touring band and performed with Ralph Rolle of Chic at Electric Picnic 2018. 
In addition to her experience in performing, Katie continues to work as a vocal and performance coach in music schools around Dublin, as a musical director for musical theatre productions, and vocal arranger/songwriter of original music.

Zoe Talbot 

Singing teacher, Thursdays 

Zoe has over 18 years of stage-school experience having trained with the Billie Barry Stage School specialising in Tap, Jazz, Modern and Ballet. She is a graduate of Musical Theatre with IMT (Irish College of Musical Theatre) in The DIT Conservatory of Music Rathmines, and is also a qualified personal trainer & nutritionist. Zoe also studied drama with Visions drama school(Mary Murray). Recent TV appearances include Spring/Summer Boots Health & Beauty campaign and the TV3 soap 'Red Rock' as Caitlin O Malley. Theatrical appearances include ‘Cinderella’ at the Olympia Theatre 2019/20 , ‘Cinderella’ Everyman theatre Cork 17/18 , Annie (Boylan sister/ ensemble) Cork Opera House ‘Laurie’ in Oklahoma at the O’Reilly Theatre Dublin, ‘Adele’ in Jane Eyre at the Gate Theatre Dublin, Cinderella, Beauty & the Beast, Mother Goose, Aladdin, Jack & the beanstalk at the Gaiety Theatre, Beauty & the Beast & Cinderella at University of Limerick, Annie at the Cork Opera House. Zoe is also a multiple World Champion Irish dancer and qualified teacher (TCRG). She spent the summers of 2016/17 performing in the Cork Opera house with the Irish dance show ‘Prodijig the Revolution’ as both singer and dancer. She had further performances with them in Hong Kong, LA, and then in Galway as part of the TG4 ‘20th anniversary’ televised celebrations, and the highlight appearing on ‘Tonight at the London Palladium’. Zoe is also a dancer with Riverdance and the dance troupes KLIX and ‘Damhsa’ and performs regularly in Ireland and abroad at prestigious Corporate events. Zoe is delighted to be working with ‘Drama House’ and cant wait to share her knowledge with her students.
